Wow, another Phenomenal read! One of if not the Greatest love stories ever told! This book was Funny, Entertaining, Real, and Inspiring! Plus it was pulling on my heart strings. I will not lie and say I didn’t buy this book because of the hype. I saw this book all over Instagram and I just had to get a copy for myself!
I had VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS for this. I didn’t give this one a 5 stars, but I did really enjoy it :’) It did not let me down!

i honestly don’t know why i read this…i don’t like history or politics. i guess because it was so hyped up? (also—if you’ve gotten about 30% into the book and still don’t like it, that’s around when things start heating up, so maybe try sticking around for a bit longer to see if you really want to DNF it. i was super close to not finishing it at that point, but it got better right after.)
overall, this was a good book, just really overrated in my opinion.

I have to say this was the second book I have read with diverse LGBTQ representation and I didn't love it! I enjoyed the book but it was not really all that great for me! I liked the first few chapters, where the main characters skirt around each other pretending and misunderstanding each other. There were genuine moments where I laughed out loud. So many have loved this book so much and I think that made me to wait more. This wasn't the best book of the year for me.
I was waiting for cute & romantic story that would have made me laugh. This has it's cute moments, but I had thought there would have been more of them. And this didn't make me laugh. Characters could have been more multi-dimensional - to get a reader to relate to them more.
