Look, this book started off Firing on All Cylinders! I was already laughing from the very first chapter. I could totally relate to these southern characters and their way of life. I was also raised in the south. They kind of all had me at Hello! Lol! Plus, adding a Vampire in the mix was like putting Whipped Cream on your favorite dessert! It Don’t Get Better Than That. "It's not such a big thing to ignore some crazy, terrible idea you were once convinced was once true in exchange for all this, for the dock, and the car, and the trip to London, and you ear, and college for the children....and for so much of everything. It isn't such a bad trade at all."

I couldn't relate to characters and I hated how husbands treated their wives. I think my problem with this book was that this was concentrating on housewives' every day problems and fights and not on vampires. This wasn't a horror story for my taste.
