Look, this book started off Firing on All Cylinders! I was already laughing from the very first chapter. I could totally relate to these southern characters and their way of life. I was also raised in the south. They kind of all had me at Hello! Lol! Plus, adding a Vampire in the mix was like putting Whipped Cream on your favorite dessert! It Don’t Get Better Than That. A group of South Carolina mothers start a book club, reading mysteries and true crime; however, when their real lives begin to imitate the books they read in unexpected ways, the suspense builds. At the center of this suspense is a mysterious stranger who has moved into their neighborhood, their lives, and even their book club. I couldn't relate to characters and I hated how husbands treated their wives. I think my problem with this book was that this was concentrating on housewives' every day problems and fights and not on vampires. This wasn't a horror story for my taste.
