The underlying implication running throughout the book is that there is an actual deep connection between eastern philosophies and quantum mechanics. This is dangerous in light of many who attempt to co opt quantum mechanics to support their personal superstition. If one can remove oneself from the perspective of the author then the correlations presented can be bemusing.
