An intriguing book. The author gives a broad overview of the microbes that live with all people and the effects of antibiotics on the the human microbiome. The author explains overuse of antibiotics--particularly in children and farm animals. A very well-written, interesting book that describes science-y concepts regarding antibiotic resistance due to overuse in both humans and farm animals, the idea that not all "bad" microbes really are that bad (or are only a problem in certain instances and actually a help in others) and immunology in an easy to understand way without dumbing it down in the least.
