I learned as much about the author's life as I did about jellyfish.
Still, I learned a lot more about jellyfish than I knew before, and I don't know of any other books aimed at the general public devoted to jellyfish.
I do wish she had addressed the neural network in jellyfish more. They don't have brains, but they clearly have intention. They have eyes (or at least similar organs). What are those eyes reporting their findings to? I think therein lies a whole lot of the puzzle of consciousness, wh ...more
