This book started out nicely, with interesting mathematics puzzles and problems. Then the book segues into philosophy, and the joys of studying mathematics. I enjoy mathematics. So, I really wanted to like this book. As I read it, the book became boring and repetitious. No thanks.

I have got to admit, I was dreading this one a bit because I have considered myself math challenged and honestly just try to avoid anything to do with math. This book was super interesting and I can’t help but think if my math teachers had listened to it and taken it to heart, maybe I wouldn’t be avoiding math as much as I do. It’s a quick and easy read with a pretty positive story that I think would benefit anyone, but especially those that are teaching mathematics at any level.
