This is another beautiful little book from Stewart that is packed with a devious collection of bugs, beetles, spiders and other crawlies that have made a name for themselves as a scurge to local humans (again mostly in the US but there are still some examples from elsewhere, not to mention a shout out to the Old World inverts taking on the New World) through poisons, toxins and good ol' fashioned destructive behaviour. I wish I could give this book 3 and a half stars - that would be perfect. I love Amy Stewart and while this is a good book, it isn't as good as some of her earlier ones - it didn't seem as in-depth as others. Regardless, I enjoyed it and it had the good side effect (just like watching Hoarders does) of making me want to clean!
