It may not be easy for a lay person to navigate or register each and every data point (nor need to) but they do serve a purpose and provide solid evidence to support each viewpoint or argument. "Most of recorded human history is one big data gap."
This is an infuriating, yet necessary read for everyone. The author did an impressive amount of research and literature review of studies from various disciplines to reveal how the world is designed mainly by and for men. As much as I liked the firm tone and caustic remarks, in some cases I would have found it more helpful to point with a call to action and have a more objective analysis, since some studies seemed cherry picked. This was a great book. Fills a much needed gap in our knowledge. I had a few concerns in some places over mixing causation and association, as well as making a few sweeping blanket statements here and there, but otherwise, I really enjoyed, and have learned a lot from, reading this book.
