‘i am made of memories.’
where do i start? i love everything about this book. everything. i cried (and still am) during and after finishing it because it’s just so heartbreaking and yet i love it all the same. definitely my new all time favourite book.

I liked this book but I didn't get as absorbed into it as a lot of other people seem to have done. It was interesting and myths are something that I am definitely fascinated by but for some reason this book just wasn't as wonderful as I had been told, as I had hoped, it would be.
Thinking about it now it could have been the fact that a lot of this book was set on a war front which I'm afraid is not where my interests lie.

Being a fan of Ancient Greek mythology, it was odd going into a book knowing what will happen and how it ends but this book was fantastic!
Whether you’re a Ancient Greek mythology fan or not this is a beautifully written retelling of the Battle of Troy as narrated from Patroclus’ perspective. Definitely worth the read. I highly recommend it.
