INCREDIBLE! REFRESHING! MIND FUCKING!

This book was so different! It was a concept I haven’t seen in books before and was just incredible.

Firstly, the first few chapters were a struggling to grasp what was happening as there was a lot of world building.
Once I passed the big chuck, I demolished the book.

The worlds magically system was hands down amazing! I am still blown away with how incredible this book was. Everything had a science behind it, every power had an explanation. It forces you to INCREDIBLE! REFRESHING! MIND FUCKING!

The worlds magically system was hands down amazing! I am still blown away with how incredible this book was. Everything had a science behind it, every power had an explanation. It forces you to think and connect the dots. It really challenges your brain. I am not a ‘book smart’ person however, I felt so intelligent reading the science and explanations in this book hahaha.

Characters.
This book is multi POV, and mostly focused on characters development. There were characters that knew how powerful they were and continued to believe they are the best, and there were characters who had no idea how powerful they were but they eventually, through character development, started to figure it out.
The entire book has you thinking who is good and who is bad. It challenges your perception of a character and shows you them in a multiple POVs. One chapter, you would hate this person, and the next, you would understand them and what they were doing.
I was so impressed with the characters development and growth in this book.

The writing was soooo good! The way the author wrote each character was beautiful. Each character had their own voice and tone, they had their own views and beliefs.
You can tell the amount of knowledge and research the author did to make everything have a reason or science behind it. Everything made sense (eventually) The dialogue was incredible, I loved the philosophical discussion and physics theories throughout the book.
The pacing was perfect. It gives the audience enough time to get to know the characters, their weakness and strengths, and then figure out what was actually happening. But by them time you do, it’s the end of the book.

The plot was so refreshing. So unpredictable. The entire book from start to finish had me guessing who was going to be eliminated and yet the ending still shocked me. Nothing I was expecting. The author hinted things throughout but I still wasn’t expecting it.
This book isn’t very action heavy therefore people think there’s “no plot” but there is. There is so much happening with the characters that it is the plot.

I throughly enjoyed this book. Hands down one of the best books I’ve read this year!
Can’t wait for the next book!
