A very thought provoking short story about morality. It is 4/5 stars as the languge kinda bothered me it was a bit hard ro read but it is really short so that saved it. But yes a very interesting story about would a sufferening of one child be sacrificed for happiness of thousands? Are those who walk away good guys?

I feel like everybody can find some sort of enigma in this story.

For me it was the exploration of how there is no happiness without sadness, and how one cannot exist without the other. There is no heaven if there is no hell.

Also it explores morality of people willing to be happy at the expense of misery of others.

For anybody who is so adamant that they would walk away from Omelas, think again, if you are reading this you haven't started walking.
