I was about to give this 5 stars, but I didn't love the first part. This book made me cry for 3 hours. I'm not kidding when I say I was up until 2:30 am this morning in tears because I couldn't cope with this book. Some of the quotes spoke directly to me. I will go into this later (I hope), but I don't think this is a book anyone should read. It's beautiful, but it's also manipulative.

Can I just say how much I loved this book?!?!

I love how honest and gritty it is. I really just enjoyed all of it. While I didn't cry (but I don't cry), it was enough to make many others cry. My friend recommended this book to me at the start of this year saying that this book was amazing and that I had to read it. This book did not disappoint. It had the perfect balance of scenes that made you smile making your heart flutter with joy and happiness and also really poignant scenes that made you want to cry for hours. This book was Re-Markey-able! I can't wait until it hits cinemas in the near future!!!

This book slowly wormed it’s way into my heart. The first hundred or so pages were a little hard to get through, a little confusing, but this book is really good, heartbreaking.

I know people raved about this book, but I just went into it and I...I didn't feel the hype. The emotion and romance was quite stale. I didn't like the romance to be honest and I feel as though the book would have been better if they would have just been friends. And I didn't really like Finch as a character and I don't mean that in a bad way, but he didn't really seem to care about anything and he was really morbid. I couldn't connect with him. It took me almost 2 months to read but I was like I didn’t really want it to end. The Plot might not have been as I’d expected but it did showed me places I never knew existed before & an insight to what it might be like for someone dealing with Bipolar Disorder along with the problems all teenagers face.
