NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THIS HEARTACHE.

True love is the two bladed sword that, if you're not careful, will kill you both.

Catherine truly had a bad hand dealt to her, and Jest was perfect for her. 80% of this book gives you a false sense of happiness, where you think it's all going to end in a happily ever after. But everyone knows who the Queen of Hearts is, and why you should never trust the pages before the end.

I'm really glad I don't live in the Land of Hearts.

Hey guys, so I just finished Heartless by Marissa Meyer, and I truly liked this rendition of the back story of the queen of hearts. I've read another book depicting the story of the queen and while I enjoyed that version, I liked Meyers tale far better. We all know the story of Alice in Wonderland and the crazy Queen of Hearts but we never really get a back story.

This is the story of Catherine who will later become the blood thirsty crazy queen. Meyer has woven a wonderful story to explain just what it takes to make someone go mad. Brilliantly weaving in the storyline of other characters from the book, we find out what happens long before Alice arrives.

I will say that I was never a fan of Alice in Wonderland but this book I loved! So well done!
