This book moved me. It's the kind of book I'd like to write.
I read it more than two years ago, and I still think of it. It's an accurate depiction of depression (both the husband's and the wife's) and grief, and the role a dog can play in a family.
My heart broke for the dog when she searched the house for her dead owner.
