Surprisingly I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading the next one in the series. fans of Twilight or the Blue Bloods series would probably enjoy this book.

Pretty good first book.

I liked all the tattoos and element and goddess stuff going on. (Plus the name yourself thing is cool!)

But the characters were not that great (except for Damien and the twins)

So basically, I liked the vampyre world they created, but I didn't like the characters that much.

Also, the references to random culture and stuff sounded a little... desperate. Like she was trying too hard to act cool (not that that wasn't unreasonable with a character like Zoey.) ...more

This is a well written book. It has a new creation of vampyres which is interesting to know different views and adapt your veiw on vampires. The pashion between two lovers and amazing. To see it go through its ups and downs is awesome.
