I had some doubts about reading this book because I have seen mixed reviews about it. But on one of my trips to the library it was just sitting there on the shelf calling to me to pick it up. I'm glad I did. While it was not an awesome book it was really enjoyable. Lucius was funny and a nice mix between obnoxiously arrogant and sweetly chivalrous. I loved this book!!
If you are a fan of teen-vapire-books... THIS IS A MUST READ!!!
my favourite book so far!! I can't stop complimenting the autor for her amazing work!! It has a lot of aspects of a teenage life in it... love triangle, problems/disagreements with parents, school live, etc. which are all linked to the main theme of this book... vampires <3

and for all girls: the main (boy) character of this book is "mouth watering" ;)

I love that she doesn't just fall into his arms from the beginning. Jessica is a pretty great character because she is true to herself and the peo

Jessica is a likeable enough character, even if the man she is supposed to marry is a complete douche. Don't get me wrong, he has his good side, but over all Lucius Vladescu is one of those want to be tough guys who are not as bad as they seem. That is why I call him a douche because instead of manning up and showing his t ...more

This is more of a 3.5 review. The last part of the book is head and shoulders over the beginning.
