I've given this three stars because it wasn't really captivating. If you're looking for a book for escapism, this is not the one for you. It'll not lure you in, but put you into a sleep. this book i read in like 3 hours last night if you have read it you might not understand why i really like it alot but to tell that truth i think this book is the most realistic portrayal of teenagers today (yes they have sex and yes it's appropriate in this book) and well vampires! of course there are alot of the silly superstitions in the book that were done away with when books like twilight came out. but sometimes it's good to remember the root of the vampire myth no matter how silly it was ...more

This book is pretty boring. Its about a girl named Jordan who's ex boyfriend was killed and turned by a Vampire and he goes to her house everyday to try and get her to invite him in. I love vampires but I wouldn't recommend this book because it has too much drama and completely goes against what vampires are. It doesnt go into the vampire stuff much, just that Jordan has major problems and that Michael is a complete jerk who just wants to use her now that he's a vamp. ...more
