I was excited about this book when I saw how thick it was. Dresden never seems to last long enough for me. Sad.

I have moments when I absolutely adore fairy tales, and Butcher's Harry Dresden may not be a fairy (pardon the pun) but he brings them along with the wizards and demons, and other thngs that go bump in the night. I read this one so fast that I can only be grateful that he has so many more.

Harry's noir adventures as a wizard in modern-day Chicago just get better and better. Treat yourself and enjoy this series! Lots of adventure, thrills, angst, and consideration of good/evil, right/wrong, loyalty, all the biggies. Presents religion positively from a non-believer's view, which is unusual in modern fiction.
