Interesting & very easy to read. Time travel in pandemic lock-down, well, what better time to go a-travelling? I listened to part of this while I was on a train & read the rest to speed things up a bit. I enjoyed both media: the narration was excellent & the written-word clear & easily understood. I'd probably give it a 3.5* rating. ...more

I simply loved this book. I cannot point out exactly why. I liked the pacing, the characters, wondering what is happening and how everything will be resolved. I liked how one of the characters, Olive, a writer, seems to reflect all the annoying things that has possibly happened to the actual author. That part especially was humorous and has made me want try Station Eleven again. I had tried it but couldn’t get into it but now I will go back to it. This book was not perfect. I am done with this author. This book can be described in 4 or 5 lines that form part of the narrative
p 71 " i was so confused by your book ... there were all these strands ... all these characters and i felt like i was waiting for them to connect" The author does eventually get round to creating a conncetion for me it wasn't well done and it wasn't worth the wait. ...more
