Characters: 3 Stars
Going to skip the familiar ones and jump into Rosalind aka Belle's mother. I'm so glad she learned through this story as well. She started out as a pretty bitter person, but by the end learned that using her magic to hurt others didn't really help either. There wasn't really much else about her as a character other than her actions. There was also more of Maurice than I have read/seen in the past. However, he is pretty much the same. An inventor who doesn't quite fit in.

Better than I expected, but it wasn't....great. it was definitely a good read but probably not one of my favorites. I did enjoy the way the story was expanded upon, but I think it was more a question of style for me. ...more

I love Beauty and the Beast, it is my favorite Disney Tale. This spin on my favorite was enjoyable. I really like this series so far that gives us another look at our favorite tales.
