Cold-hearted rake had it all - fun, romance and a really good story. Both Devon and Kathleen came alive on the pages for me - as too did the minor characters of Weton, Helen and the twins. The two MC's both grew as characters- neither were in the same place as they were in the start.
The best thing about finishing this story was the knowledge that there is one more to read - and another one scheduled to come out next year.

Devon Ravenel & Kathleen Ravenel
Kathleen ruined this story for me. I just couldn't get on board with her holier than thou ways. At one point I even spoke out loud telling her to butt out of everyone's business.
I loved Devon, West, Helen, and the twins though. They made dealing with Kathleen bearable.
I did wish that this story would have centered more on Devon and Kathleen as a couple, but I am curious to see how Rhys and Helen will mend what's been broken between them. Also, I am on pins and n ...more

An interesting story. The unwelcome changes experienced by the cold-hearted Rake develop throughout the story until finally the rake becomes aware. Love the twins and Helen.
It was fine, but I didn't like it as well as some of the others in the series. I guess I wanted more time with the main romance and less with the side romance.
