My original review got lost! I've seen other people complain of this but this is the first time I've discovered it's happened to me too!
Can't remember the details, but I've just finished the second one. I came to remind myself what I said in this review, only to find it has disappeared.

Just needed to brush up on book one before freakin' finally continuing on with this series because I had genuinely forgotten what had happened in this one. Not sure what's taken me so long but I'm gonna start book two. I still really enjoyed this book and I just adore Mercy as a character. I would have never have picked out this book for myself. I received the first three books in this series as a Christmas gift from my brother in law who is a Patricia Briggs Fan. I finally got around to reading the first book and I just have to say the book is not bad, but it's nothing I would write home about. The writing is ok, but the story is a bit clichés minus all the sex. It's your typical werewolf story with a coyote shifter, a vampire, and a fae thrown in for shits and giggles. It's a yo ...more

I was a little unsure in the beginning, but once I hit around page 60, this really picked up and I enjoyed it. A very interesting cast of characters, and I like this strange, and scary world. I'm looking forward to more of Stefano, Zee, Warren...and hopefully ADAM! I like Samuel, but I don't like him like that :P
