3.5 ⭐️ I really enjoyed this book. I liked that you had the two sort of parallels of February (hearing child of deaf parents) and Charlie (deaf child of hearing parents). I always love when a fiction novel can successfully implement lots of educational moments, and this is a great example of that. I learned a lot about ASL, the deaf community, the negative impacts of cochlear implants, and even racism within the community and how segregation essentially led to a whole new dialect of ASL, called
