Achilles and Patroclus, I can't say that before this I knew of the stories, or much about Achilles past the quote "Achilles heel - the part of Achilles that was said to be his undoing" I was quite ignorant to his entire story and beginning
But in reading this book, that phrase took on a different meaning. I'm glad that I went into this book completely ignorant to anything, so I could consume the book in its entirety without a bias or current lens through which I read it.

All in all, a very interesting story, giving great insight into the greeks times. Terribly tragical ending, with an interesting plot twist. I would recommend reading this book to anyone enjoyed in greek
