The books premise was good, but the construction of the story - stories - and the presentation of them was not.
Normally I do not criticize a memoir. Each person walks their own mile in life and I usually don't feel that I have the right to take a stand. However this book may have changed my opinion.
This would have been a better book had it ended with the end of the trial and the conviction of the assumed murderer. I was not interested in this author's love life or her imagined needs - ...more

Not true crime, even though the publisher is pushing it as such. Mainly a memoir of the author's life, with much more about her father's unexpected death and her love life than about her murdered aunt's new trial. The writing was all over the place and had no focus. Extremely disappointing!
