In classic Lispector fashion, she manages to deliver an extremely introspective meditation-esque book on what it means to be here, on this earth, in this moment, and why? Although this is the densest piece of fiction I’ve read by Clarice Lispector so far, I feel strongly that her penchant for poeticism almost makes up for the disjointed mess of the logic.
