I have an amazing friend group. We have a fairly wide range of identities, and all respect each other. We’re very close and have amazing relationships with one another. I have never found anything that I would trade them for.

Until I discovered this friend group and found family. Because oh my gosh, please take me in as one of your own. They love each other and make room for each other in every imaginable (and unimaginable) situation. I love each and every one of them. They’re adora

This is the kind of good that it's hard to find words for. I mean, I liked RW&RB but this? This isn't just a level above that, it's an entire floor above it. I loved every single character and the side characters felt far more nuanced (Wes I would die for you) and Jane! I can't even put into words how amazing Jane Su is. This book and Jane's character are love letters to queer history. This is easily a new favorite. ...more

oh god, where do i even start with this one...

i think this is one of the most outstanding books i've read in my life. the story is so well written and it's always entertaining, never obvious which is great for me because my adhd won't let me enjoy more spread-out and longer descriptive books. this was a perfect fit for me and man, I wished to be August so many times throughout reading the book. the atmosphere was so!! chaotic but in such a great way! this book literally took me with the whole cr

I enjoyed this, but it didn't deliver like people said. It's long, so so long. Some pages were just boring and others I found myself lost in the writing.
Story being: Queer college student moves to new york for a fresh start with a new major, flatmates and job. Whilst riding the subway, she notices that a girl is always there (I think it was pretty instant romance which I'm also not the biggest fan of). After many chats later they (they being

casey mcquinston knows how to write incredible characters!! i am so in love with both of their books. she really knows how to make me laugh, sob, get horny, and feel warm & fuzzy all within a few pages. i love the dynamics between the mc and li, but also between all of the side characters!! i truly felt like i was transported into this book and became friends with august, nico, jane and wes too.

the plot, however, is very predictable lol. (a common theme in casey’s writing) BUT the rid

2/5 ⭐️
