Unfortunately this book didn't hit me in the way I was hoping it would, but it did for others and I'm so so glad that it did! I definitely want to read more of Kacen Callender's works (namely their middle grade and their adult fantasy) and if you're worried that this one won't be worth the hype: it probably will be. ...more

This book. This frickin book. I don't believe I've read a transmasc book this year so far but I relate to this book on another level. This book not only has the prettiest spine in the history of spines but it also has good writing,

If you're looking for a book that has all the drama and self-reflection you could want, this is for you. It's an authentic read from a trans perspective and one I recommend for anyone who is questioning their gender identity.
