Hmm. Can't tell if I liked the writing style or not (I think I did?) and I preferred the second half to the first. Partially wish it had been a bit more plot-heavy but also I do love books which are just character study so I can't complain.

okay, alright. i did like how in-depth and honest this book gets about being trans and I think that even people who know little to nothing about the topic could understand a little better what a person can go through (mentally). so that I find great! but the book itself isn't written very well, especially the second part. despite it being more interesting to me plot-wise, it lacked something. maybe it was the overuse of the word "whatever" that threw me off because at some point I found myself s
