Whenever my eye twitches I think of Hetty's eye. I read this book two years ago. Now that's what I call strong writing.

I know a lot of people don't really like this book, but I loved it! I was nervous going in because I usually don't do well with body horror, but it wasn't a deterrent for me in this! The twists and turns toward the end had me shook, and I absolutely loved Hetty and Byatt. My one complaint is that Reese and Hetty's relationship kinda comes out of nowhere. I still adore this book

yeah i’m pretty mad.

books are supposed to have a beginning, middle, and end right? emphasis on the end?

maybe i’m being too bitter and i need to accept that i’m not going to be able to turn the page an there be more to the story. but there’s no way in hell you could call whatever we got an “ending”.

apart from that, a solid read with good characters, romance, and plot. i liked the setting and all the conflict, and pretty much enjoyed the book all the way through.
