The Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School was a mixed bag. I liked Yami from the start and her narrative voice remained good throughout. I also loved Cesar, and this is one of the best sibling relationships I've read so far. The middle dragged horribly, but it had a very strong end--everything from Christmas onward ...more

This book was perfection. I had so many ups and downs reading this book, screaming, crying, laughter, kicking my feet. I loved every moment reading this book. Will be recommending this book to everyone.

I loved reading this, and I couldn’t put the book down. However, this is the kind of book that I wish didn’t resonate with me. Growing up queer and in a deeply conservative household was extremely formative for my personality, and I saw myself in this book. I definitely recommend, but, be careful.
