Honestly I didn't like this one as much as I thought I would, but I was never really sold on Irene and Scottie's romance. I loved the ending (and as a queer Catholic, I liked that both Irene and Scottie were Catholic!) but it just never felt like Scottie and Irene's romance was real. I never shipped them and their enemies-to-lovers story just didn't feel as believable as the ones in the last two sapphic rom-coms I read (HANI AND ISHU'S GUIDE TO FAKE DATING and NOT MY PROBLEM both did the same ...more

duUUude!! i couldn’t stop blushing this entire book!!! something about sapphic romcoms just makes my heart melt. (maybe the fact that i’m sapphic & a hopeless romantic)
i really loved how this book handled toxic relationships and the effect that they have on people. the author managed to have all this drama, but still focus on making sure the final relationship (and people involved) were healthy and happy. i really loved that the story wasn’t perfect and that people did end up making m ...more

After losing to her ex girlfriend in their first game since they broke up. Scottie gets into a mix up with the worst possible person: her enemy the beautiful Irene. When it only gets worse when there mums get involved and are forced to get in the car together until Irene’s car is fixed.
The more time they spent together the more bumpier the ride is. Scottie needs to get back at her toxic ex and climb the schools social ladder she then bribes Irene into playing along.
Heartbreak, fake dating turns ...more

this was a sapphic christmas hallmark movie.
there were too many terrible harry potter jokes. i know for a fact there was at least six. one is already too much, BUT SIX???
otherwise it was a cute little story. i was 100% jealous of scottie having her parents, although thora pissed me the fuck off. back to the point; it was super cute. the whole dirty dancing thing scottie did for irene and the say anything… boom box scene was adorable
