“Yea, it’s going to be a no from me dawg”

This was my book club’s January pick and I just couldn’t get through it. Definitely check the triggers but also know that some of the details are incredibly graphic and not just mentioned in passing.

Editing to add, that most my friends enjoyed this one so it may still be for you, so please don’t let my DNF deter you!

3.5 stars. This is what Katee Robert’s Wicked Villains series should’ve been. The plot was actually well thought out and wasn’t just aload of smut!

So good! Emily always writes the best angsty love stories while giving plot twist endings that will leave you in shock for days. I love this book for its drama and twists and turns. If you’re looking for more passionate love though- Scarred is for you ;)
