I guessed that ending.
First thoughts-
I liked it and I thought it lived up to the hype.
I felt the war college was well thought out, and the world building was great.
I think at times I felt Violet was repetitive.
I liked the romance and the end was good! Can’t wait to start the next one.

I’m stunned by this book… absolutely stunned
Rating this book is somewhat tricky for me. It would've gotten five stars, but as the book progressed, I didn't like certain plot points which made its rating drop. What didn't work for me was that I found Violet to be annoying as I continued reading the book. (Sidenote: Xaden is a terrible name! Xander still would've been bad, but at least it's somewhat more appealing).

Worth the hype!!!
I’m really freaking sad I’m not still reading this book. Deserves all the hype.
3.5 stars
Pacing was all over the place, but it was enjoyable nonetheless (ignore how long it took me to read this book)
