Ahhhhh this was my first book by Emily Henry, and I am sold! (Quite literally, because I bought two more of her books last night!) The banter in this book was SO GOOD!!! Definitely think this cured by reading slump. I have so much to say, but I’m still reeling from how cute this book was! Ahhhh YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK! That is the best I can muster up right now for a review.

YES YES YES!! This book had been on my radar prior to it even being released, and I'm so happy to say that it completely met my expectations! I spent like one month putting off reading it because I knew I wanted to devote my attention to enjoying it (end-of-the-year testing is hectic for teachers lol).
Emily Henry did great in creating the story of Charlie and Nora. It was enjoyable to read about a heroine who knows she's a BOUJIE and CONFIDENT BADASS, who owns it and knows what she's looking fo ...more

Looking for a great summer read? This is it! A bingeable romance with feel good characters! A book about books and life in the book world - loved that! It has the enemies to lovers trope and a great sisters theme! Don't wait, read it today!
I have a few Emily Henry books on my TBR list, I need to move them up. I thought this was my first Henry book, however, my Goodreads list reminded me that I had read 'A Million Junes,' another book I really enjoyed.

I loved Nora and Charlie so much and I loved how they were perfect for each other and neither of them had to change to fit the other. I also liked how the conventional tropes were flipped on their head. The plot was slightly predictable however so the climax of the novel didn't hit me as hard as it was supposed to.

I mean obviously, it was amazing. I enjoyed all the different characters, the cliches, references, setting, and story, I LOVED IT ALL. This is just a romance story either, our characters work through "oldest daughter" syndrome, family relationships, and being true to yourself.
Let's talk about how cute and in my opinion perfect a relationship between a literary agent and editor would be, ugh I love it. The relationship between the two was comforting, seeing how they both appreciated ...more

“If you’re the wrong kind of woman, then i’m the wrong kind of man” 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
That was better than anything else Emily Henry has written by a mile. That book broke me and put me back together and literally moved my own body from ‘winter to spring’ 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😂
The way Charlie is not only obsessed with her looks but he literally is always captivated by her brain!! Like that is so hot to me!!! I love a man who is actually delighted by a smart woman instead of being intimidated or some dumb shit. Hes just ca ...more
