OKAY..So this book was nice, it wasn't great and i didn't find myself dying to finish it but it was nice. I found the story to be interesting enough that it held my attention, a fair amount of it was quite predictable unfortunately but not enough that I lost interest. I already have the second book on hand so I will be reading it, had I not had it already I can't say I would be racing out to get it.

this was definitely sooooo much better than what I was expecting — the fantasy/mystery was done so well! And the budding romance is done so well, so much foundation for the next book to be built on!! The ending left me craving more!
