A certified page-turner, James Dashner's The Maze Runner offers a spine-tingling, nerve-wreaking and action packed saga about a group of boys thrown into a giant ever-changing maze with no memories except their names to figure a way out. An unforgettable adventure that will have you clammering to get the sequel to get answers and see what happens next.

Wow! This book had me hooked right from the first page! It had so mnay twists and turns and unsolved mysteries that kept me completely engrossed until the very end. I also loved the banter and wit between all the characters. Very enjoyable book and I am excited to start the second one!

When I first heard about this book , it didn't really interest me at all but then something sparked this morning and I thought, alright I'll give it a whirl and to my suprisement I actually enjoyed it alot. It was a great read and I think since I've been on a tad bit of a dystopian buzz , it made me enjoy it more. This is one dystopian novels that those of the male sex will really really enjoy as the whole line-up are teenage guys except for one girl who shows up about halfway through the novel.

I wasn't sure what exactly to expect with The Maze Runner, but what I got was an exciting read that proved hard to put down. When I started the book, I had as many questions as the book's main character, Thomas, since he didn't know more than I did. I really liked how Dashner set it up so that Thomas and the reader got their answers at the same time. Dashner also does a great job at developing not just his main character but some of the secondary characters as well really adding to the story and

I definitely enjoyed this book. A great first novel that makes you want to continue reading the series. The Maze Runner is fast paced and there is a TON of action. There is a new twist at the end of every chapter.
Thomas is an excellent main character. He is smart and brave. His humanity and his selfless actions are exactly what I hope I would be capable of in that situation. My other favorite chacters were Teresa (the only girl in a world full of boys), Chuck, Minho, and Newt. Their faith in Tho ...more

It was really good, a lot different than I thought it was going to be, but it was still really good. I can't wait to read the next book.... :)

So it was very addicting and fast paced. I'm just not always a dystopian fan fan, because they never end well. And I can just feel the dreary ending looming already for this book. So I won't get too excited.
Favorite character, though, most certainly was Newt. Great character. And of course Thomas. ...more
