True Grit and Exquisite Writing
In the '90s, I was glued to The X-Files for its smart supernatural mysteries, and later hooked on Patrick Jane’s razor-sharp wit in The Mentalist. Since then, with few shows scratching that same itch, I’ve been chasing that thrill in books. Few match those heights, but 'Dogteeth,' a collection of short stories, hits those heights. Time and again, a book comes along that doesn’t just read, it unfolds like a scene you’re witnessing. This is that book. The writing is ...more

I really enjoyed this read. There were several short stories, some that scares, and some that make you wonder. By breaking things up the author keeps thing fresh and exciting. I wish more writers would develop books with short stories like this. You can't go wrong, and highly recommend the read.

This is a collection of weird, eerie, spine-tingling and out-of-this-world stories. To add to the mystery, each story aims to pique the reader's curiosity about what lies ahead and often ends with a surprising conclusion. In a brisk, punchy writing style, with shades of light and dark, the author astutely explores varying aspects of all things otherworldly, some more intense than others. If you enjoy paranormal and supernatural phenomena, you will enjoy this book.

Twisted horror with a slice of humor.
A collection of far out fringe horror stories marked by excellent writing and classiness. They're all good - requiring some reading between the lines, but Easy-Peasy was my favorite, I think because I love Bradley.
Besides, any author who loves the greatest decade (the 1980s) is a giant in my book who can do no wrong. ...more

Rounded up from 4.5
This book is a collection of short stories, full of imagination and creativity. One can jump from one story to another and be amazed at how the characters and world have changed. Some endings are abrupt, but that is the charm of short stories. Some leave us wanting more, while the rest feel incomplete.
Some elements made me chuckle, like how the author pokes at many questionable things in our current society. For example, the absurdity of social media that continues to exist b ...more
