DARKLANDS PARANORMAL is a fascinating non-fiction account of paranormal investigators Marco Santucci and Scott Ault, who use video and sound equipment to record paranormal phenomenon that may indicate the presence of ghosts and other paranormal beings. The book chronicles their trips to various haunted and historical sites and what they experienced at each one, and includes QR codes that can be scanned to provide added files to listen to if the reader wants examples to enhance the reading experi

I’ve always enjoyed paranormal reality shows with ghostbusters and all their high-tech equipment, but I’ve never read a book with a similar premise until now. This collection reads more like a journal, detailing the experiences of two paranormal investigators. The sound clips were interesting and spooky, adding more depth to an already riveting tale. (The sound clips can be accessed in two ways: you can scan the QR codes, or go directly to the Sound Cloud page and listen there, which is what I d

This is the second book of the paranormal investigation series by Marco Santucci and also the second book in this genre that I have ever read. Unlike the first book, which feels much more personal, this one follows Marco and his partner, Scott and their visits and investigations to various places, with stories of their encounters with other beings. Scott has a knack for snapping pictures of them, while Marco has his recordings. There are QR codes throughout the book that readers can scan to hear

This is the chronicle of paranormal investigators Marco Santucci and Scott Ault. The real value of Darklands Paranormal is in the compilation of QR codes allowing you relatively easy access to ten years worth of the duo's top EVPs. (That's electronic voice phenomenon, recordings interpreted as spirit communications). Anyone with an interest in the paranormal should see this for the smorgasbord it is.
One caveat for the QR codes, this is set up for print, but I was given a free review copy as a PD ...more

Creepy, Cool, and Totally Addictive
Okay, I’ve always been curious about the paranormal — partly because of some weird stuff that’s happened in my own house, and partly because of all the stories I’ve heard from family and friends over the years. So when I came across Darklands Paranormal: The Chronicles, I had to check it out… and wow, this book did not disappoint.
