I really enjoyed the mythological aspects in the story

Millennium of the Ocean Serpent is an epic backstory to the Sword of Three Rivers Series. I am a fan of sprawling fantasy such as G.O.T. and Seth Hobbs is a master teller of these ambitious complex, many character/storyline sagas. Well, this was an interesting read. The world building was fantastic. The MC was a terrible person and hard to empathise with, which was the author's intention. It was interesting to see as he rose to power, he pretty much disregarded the people who helped put him there. I won't spoil what he does, but it happens because he's so wrapped up in himself and the prophecy that he doesn't think about the consequences of those actions.

A most outrageously and interesting cast of characters among many storylines, all with extremely odd names-
The pages are riddled with lies and deceit to gain power. I found myself lost a time or two, it had its highs and lows as far as my interest level went. I enjoyed the Bundulicce people storyline most.
A well written book, though not a genre I would typically choose to read, but definitely became drawn in many times through this well written book. I certainly recommend it for any and all Fan

Millennium of the Ocean Serpent is the first edition of a prequel that spans the thousand years prior to the Sword of Three Rivers Series. A young man emerges from the bowels of a giant dragon, with pure white skin, flowing white hair, and blue eyes - he must be the promised one, right?

There are many storylines to follow, but I was able to keep them straight if I noted them. The world-building and attention to detail in this series are incredible, right down to the white-haired king getting sunb
