Maybe I'm just not getting the humor. For crying out loud, Kirkus gave this book a positive review, and that's a hard thing for an urban fantasy book to achieve. Or maybe Kirkus is slipping.
Anyway, I found the book boring, repetitive, and predictable. I expected a bit more fun, and less cheap shots. I had high hopes.
