What Members Thought
I am so thrilled that one of my local libraries picked this as their monthly read for this January. I had never heard of this series before, or, sadly, this Congressman. Part of me is very ashamed that I have let this part of our history escape me. I know about the topics he writes about in this graphic novel, but I have never heard of them from the perspective of 1.) a black individual and 2.) from someone who was there, fighting for equality.
