LOVED, loved, loved this Letters of Enchantment series of 2 books! It had everything - fantasy, romance, historical/olde worlde charm, good vs evil, drama, war themes, strong women - all wrapped up in a fantastic, thoroughly enjoyable story. I'm quite keen to try other books by this author, but I don't see how she can surpass this masterpiece, which has automatically entered my favourite books list. Phew! I loved Divine Rivals so much I was worried that Ruthless Vows wouldn’t be able to live up to it. Thankfully that wasn’t the case! I enjoyed this book almost as much as the first! This is one of those series you reread over and over again!! Urg, the characters 🥹 there is just a special place in my heart for them ❤️ The backstory about the Gods and their war was very interesting. I am glad Rebecca Ross dove into that more this time around.
