I really enjoyed the conclusion to this story. Roman and iris love story was so sweet and they endured a lot. The story was their story and Iris grew into a strong female. Dacre and Envas underlying story may or could have been explained more, but I was ok with the snippets given.the supporting characters I enjoyed as well. Overall I loved this duology!

I absolutely loved the first book, but I had a really hard time getting into and finishing this book.... Especially after just finishing Fourth Wing and Iron Flame and also working on the ACOTAR series. I plan on reading again when I can dedicate the time to see if it was just me. 🤷‍♀️
