Wow! I started reading ACOTAR on June 1, 2023, and made my way through the Maasverse!

House of Flame and Shadow was fast-paced just like the other two reads. I did contemplate a 3.5 rating at times. Some things fell through the cracks because of the speed. It almost felt like she HAD to squeeze it all into this book. It was so rushed. The story was still good and I enjoyed the overall reveals, so my end rating is a 4.1. I have enjoyed this series but it’s a heavy read. So many characters to keep track of, lots of back and forth. I often found myself confused as to what was happening. I did enjoy it but won’t be back for a re read.

This was really really good!!! Loved all the characters coming together from all over making me reminisce about TOG. 🥹 there were some moments that I was really annoyed with Bryce, hence the 4⭐️s. But overall it was well worth the wait!! 🙌🏻💃🏼😍
