I really liked the idea of the this story, I just couldn’t connect with the FMC or MMC. Which also killed the chemistry. All of which made for a very long story that I could not get into and seriously debated DNFing several times.
I'm having trouble with this rating. I had fun with the plot and setting, but the book overall is not really my vibe. So maybe 2.5 stars?
On the one hand, I was intrigued by the world and concept of the story—the seven deadly sin princes, the game/scavenger hunt premise, the Bridgerton feel of Waverly Green, the role that art plays in the story, etc. And I appreciated that secrets were hinted at or revealed at interesting moments, keeping me engaged.
