Absolutely incredible.
I INHALED this book. Action packed, a lot of answers from the last two books and even more questions going forward. I need the 4th book asap cause like always, this had a huge cliffhanger that will torment me until the next book.
This brought all the emotions. What I love about Rebecca Yarros is how flushed out this environment is, I feel like I’m there, my heart races, I cry, I giggle, it brings all the emotions and is such a good time!

Who are all these people???
For a book with so manyyyyy pages, you’d think there’d at least be a few answers worth knowing. And thank the baby lord jesus for the xray feature of kindle. Seriously, about 50% of the words in OS are the first (and now last) names of the characters, their dragons’ names, their colors and tails, the hippogruff - i mean, gryphons’ names, the Gods, the cities, their signets, the runes, the “villians” (spoiler free!) and the villian’s hierarchies!

10000 stars, absolutely loved it. Fourth Wing laid the foundation but Onyx Storm? My favorite so far. There was a lot of world building since they left the continent BUT I feel like I learned so much. I’m pretty sure my heart stopped at least 6 times, I SCREAMED at least 4 times, and I absolutely lost it at the end.
