Oh Haymitch. I’m so glad they explained your story and did it justice. A devastating tale, but a perfect way to tie in all our beloved hunger games characters to make it make sense.
If it looks like a hunger games book and tastes like a hunger games book, it must be a hunger games book.

Haymitch Abernathy, the curmudgeonly alcoholic Hunger Games victor/ mentor, narrates the tale of his own games in this prequel. It provides us with an understandable explanation of his character development and the Haymitch we first met in the original book. I enjoyed the original trilogy, in book and film, and thus, I enjoyed this too. The narrator did an excellent job, his voice echoed that of Woody Harrelson in the film series.
