Holy shit, this book was filled with so much trauma porn (are all their books like that?). But I loved Elliot and Macy and their second chance at love!
3.5/4 stars. Love and Other Words made a huge comeback on my social media feeds so I decided to give it a try. It was super sweet though I don't know if I'd say it was the most memorable. It's a friends to lovers second chance romance and I think it captured the main characters throughout childhood really well. I think the end could've been paced a bit better but overall I liked it.

10/10 THIS BOOK *cries* so good. A second chance, friends-to-lovers romance with some heartbreaking parts and chemistry that sizzles. I loved Macy and Elliot, and the way the story toggled between present-day and flashbacks. The angstiest book I’ve read by Christina Lauren.
