When I heard there was going to be a new spin off series based on the Alchemists from the VA series from Mead, I didn't really know what to think to be honest.

I think this book was a great way to introduce us into the world of the alchemists. there was plenty of drama and action toward the end. I really enjoyed it. I love Sydney and can't wait to read what other adventures she has with Adrian, Jill, Eddie and now Angeline.
